Fill Out Your Intake Form
Tell us your name, bio, certifications, and contact info. Then choose up to 8 products from Backcountry or Evo — gear you already recommend to your clients.
The form takes about 10 minutes. You can include your own blurb for each product explaining why you recommend it, or we can write one on your behalf.
We Build Your Catalog
Our team builds your catalog page at gearbook.shop/yourname within a few business days. We set up your unique affiliate tracking ID (SubID) so every sale is traced back to you.
Your page includes your photo, bio, certification, contact info, and all 8 products with images, descriptions, and your personal blurbs. Clean, professional, and shareable.
You Get a Login to Review It
We send you a magic link via email. Click it and you're in — no password needed. Review your catalog, check your shareable link, and make sure everything looks right.
If anything needs changing, just email us. We make revisions within 48 hours.
Share Your Catalog
Email it to clients before or after their trip, post the link on Instagram, or share the QR code in person. The more you share it, the more you earn.
Most guides add their catalog link to their trip confirmation emails. Others post it to their Instagram bio or mention it during in-person sessions.
Earn From Every Sale
When a client clicks your link and buys something on Backcountry or Evo, you earn 5% commission on the sale. Payouts go out monthly via PayPal.
We send you a detailed monthly earnings report showing clicks, sales, conversion rate, average order value, and your payout amount. Full transparency, every month.

How does GearBook make money?
We keep 3% of each sale commission. You take home 5%. The total affiliate rate from Backcountry/Evo is 8%, split between us.
Do I need to know anything about affiliate marketing?
Not at all. We handle the setup, tracking links, and monthly reporting. You just share your catalog link.
What if my client buys something that's not in my catalog?
Your SubID tracks any purchase made within the Backcountry or Evo affiliate window after clicking your link — not just the specific products in your catalog.
Can I update my product picks?
Yes. Email us anytime and we'll update your catalog. Seasonal refreshes are something we'll offer as an add-on for higher tiers.
How long does it take to get my catalog?
We aim to have Starter catalogs live within 3–5 business days of receiving your intake form.
