GearBook creates affiliate catalogs for guides, instructors, and outdoor professionals. These catalogs contain recommended gear and affiliate links. Guides and instructors share catalogs with their communities and clients and may receive affiliate commissions when purchases are made.
Eligibility
By using GearBook, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction), have the authority to enter into these Terms, and provide accurate and truthful information in onboarding forms.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use GearBook's services only for lawful purposes, share catalogs in a professional manner with your audience, not misuse affiliate links or engage in deceptive practices, and keep your contact and payment information up to date.
Affiliate Links & Earnings
GearBook catalogs contain affiliate links managed through third-party programs. GearBook tracks sales and calculates payouts according to affiliate program reporting. Earnings are distributed according to agreed-upon terms. GearBook is not responsible for tracking errors, delays, or disputes arising from third-party affiliate programs.
Payments
Payouts are typically made via PayPal or other agreed-upon methods on the 1st of each month. GearBook reserves the right to withhold or adjust payments if fraudulent activity, policy violations, or reporting discrepancies are detected.
Intellectual Property
All GearBook catalogs, templates, and designs remain the property of GearBook. Guides may use catalogs for personal and professional promotion but may not copy, resell, or distribute GearBook content outside the intended use. Guides retain rights to their personal brand names, logos, and likeness shared for catalog customization.
Limitation of Liability
GearBook is not liable for errors, delays, or losses related to third-party affiliate programs, any damages resulting from the use of catalogs or affiliate links, or business outcomes including sales performance or audience engagement. Your use of GearBook is at your own risk.
Termination
GearBook reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to services at any time for violations of these Terms, or to remove or modify catalogs if necessary to comply with affiliate program requirements or legal obligations.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
