Black Totem

#01

Totems in general are great cams since their lobes activate independently of each other, something other name brand cams don't do. The black totem fits between 0.2 and 0.3 and seems to place securely exactly where you need it when you need it

Mammut 9.5 Crag Dry Rope Duodess

#02

If you're going to buy one rope, this is it. 9.5 is the perfect sweet spot to take sport cragging or trad multipitching. The dry treating is essential for a longer lifespan, and the bipattern makes it so you never have to worry about missing the middle of the rope. All qualities I tout highly.

I'd like to highlight scuba features like No fly time, Safety stop, No-deco planner, and Too fast ascent, along with freedive features like, Depth notify, Dive time alarm, and Surface time. While it's imperative to understand how and why dive computers are calculating these metrics, having them easily viewable on your wrist absolutely increases you and your buddy's safety in the water and after your dives.

Mammut Barryvox S2

This is the best beacon on the market. 70m of range, the multiple burial features, and Mammut's quality make this a standout piece of my backcountry kit I rely on to keep me and my partners alive.

Julbo Lightyear Goggles

#06

Transition goggles have been a game changer. Not having to bring multiple lenses and worry about which to choose has been so convenient. These will transition differently based on the amount of UV they are exposed to so they truly are the only pair of goggles you need. They also have a vent feature which is a nice touch

Mountain Hardwear Bishop Pass Sleeping Bag: 0F Down

#07

This is the 0 degree bag I've used for the last few years. It's kept me very cozy all the way down to -3 and comes with both a storage bag and a smaller stuff sack when you need to take it with you in your pack.

NEMO Equipment Inc. Tensor All-Season Sleeping Pad

#08

The most comfortable sleeping pad I've ever slept on. It's quiet and doesn't lose air overnight. It packs down super small and comes with a patch kit. The R value is 5.4 so this is a very versatile pad that can take you pretty cold before you have to stack anything under it
