Tenaya Indalo Climbing Shoe Blue, Mens 6.5/Womens 7.5
“As someone who prefers to have a one-size-fits-all sort of climbing shoe, I have yet to find a better option than the Indalo. While I think foot shape plays a large role in climbing shoe selection, and I certainly have a less standard foot shape, which the Indalo supports, (WIDE Toe Box, and SKINNY Heel), I still think I would gravitate towards the shoe regardless.”

Black Totem
“Totems in general are great cams since their lobes activate independently of each other, something other name brand cams don't do. The black totem fits between 0.2 and 0.3 and seems to place securely exactly where you need it when you need it.”

Mammut 9.5 Crag Dry Rope Duodess
“If you're going to buy one rope, this is it. 9.5 is the perfect sweet spot to take sport cragging or trad multipitching. The dry treating is essential for a longer lifespan, and the bipattern makes it so you never have to worry about missing the middle of the rope. All qualities I tout highly.”

Friction Labs Gorilla Grip One Color, 6oz
“While I tend to believe the chalk compound one uses when they climb can be more mentally supportive than physically, when I am pushing my limit and trying the hardest stuff I can, I will always look for the Gorilla Grip. Aside from the long-staying property of the chalk itself, the Gorilla Grip Chunk sizing is effective in providing a smooth fine coat to your hands.”
